US Bank Robbery Suspects Sought

The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in locating the people responsible for a bank robbery that took place at the US Bank located at 9230 Elk Grove Florin Road #120.

On May 2nd, around 10:20 a.m., the suspects pictured below entered US Bank and approached a teller. One of the suspects, pictured in the dark hooded sweatshirt, pointed a gun at the employee and demanded money. The teller feared for their safety and complied with the demands. After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the suspects exited the bank and were last seen fleeing on foot.

Suspect #1 was described as a Black male, late teens or early 20’s, five feet five inches tall (5’5”), and thin build. He was wearing a black zip-up sweatshirt, blue face covering and was armed with the handgun.

Suspect #2 was described as a Black male, late teens or early 20’s, five feet ten inches tall (5’10”), and thin build. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and a black face covering.

Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to call the Elk Grove Police Department Investigations Bureau at (916) 478-8193 or Crime Stoppers at (916) 443-HELP (4357). Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Tips can also be sent to EGPD via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.
