On July 5, 2024, at approximately 6:49 p.m., the Elk Grove Police Department responded to West Stockton Boulevard, between Whitelock Parkway and Kyler Road, regarding a single-vehicle collision.
The driver and solo occupant of a Nissan SUV, was driving north bound on West Stockton Boulevard when the driver drifted over the south bound lane, colliding into the field on the west side of the roadway.
Officers and medical personnel arrived and immediately began rendering aid. The female driver of the Nissan succumbed to her injuries and passed away at the scene. The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will make identification of the deceased.
