BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT SOUGHT
ELK GROVE, CA – The Elk Grove Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a bank robbery that took place at the El Dorado Savings Bank located at 8973 Grant Line Road.
On December 23, 2019, at 10:45 a.m., the suspect (photo below) approached a teller and demanded money. Fearing for their safety, the teller complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency. The subject took the money, exited the bank and then fled in a newer dark-colored sedan, possibly a Nissan.
Officers received information that the suspect had driven to the area of Heritage Hill Drive and Calvine Road. Officers were unable to locate the suspect after completing a search of the area.
The suspect was described as a Caucasian male adult, six feet tall (6’0”), one hundred eighty-five pounds (185 lbs.). The suspect was wearing a yellow jacket with black sleeves, dark-colored pants, and a white hard hat.

Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00. Tips can also be sent via SMS text message by entering CRIMES (274637) on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 (agency identification number) and the message.
