The Cosumnes Fire Department and Elk Grove Police Department collect and distribute toys to predetermined families in need for the holiday season. The toys are delivered by volunteers of the police and fire departments.

Holiday Gift Assistance
The Elk Grove Police Department and Cosumnes Fire Department are accepting applications for holiday gift assistance.
The application period has now closed.
Qualified families must reside within the City of Elk Grove, Cosumnes CSD, or Wilton Fire Protection District. Toys will be delivered for resident children aged 1-11 only. Qualified families are determined based on household income and the number of people living within the household. The qualifications are:

ALL SPOTS HAVE BEEN FILLED. APPLICATION PROCESS IS CLOSED UNTIL NEXT SEASON.
What You Need to Apply
You must bring with at least one of each of the following with you when you apply.
Proof of Identification
- Driver’s License / ID Card Passport
- Green Card
- Picture ID
Proof of Residence
- Current utility bill
- Current rent receipt
Proof of income
- Paycheck stub
- SSI verification
- Cal Works summary Student Aid verification
Proof of Each Child
- Birth Certificate Passport
- State ID / Green Card School ID

To best follow safety precautions, the following locations will have bins located outside each station:
- Station 71 - 8760 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove
- Station 72 - 10035 Atkins Dr., Elk Grove
- Station 73 - 9607 Bond Rd., Elk Grove
- Station 74 - 6501 Laguna Park Dr., Elk Grove
- Station 75 - 2300 Maritime Dr., Elk Grove
- Station 76 - 8545 Sheldon Rd., Elk Grove
The Cosumnes Fire Department and Elk Grove Police Department will be delivering toys for children age 1 to 11 on:
Saturday, December 16, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Please plan to be home at this time. Items will not be left if no one is home. If you are not there to accept the toys and food, you can pick them up from the Elk Grove Police Department, 8400 Laguna Palms Way, Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., starting on Monday, December 18th.
